Ingredients
  

Cake Base
  • 2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs for crust
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
Ice Cream Layers
  • 4 cups vanilla ice cream softened
  • 4 cups chocolate ice cream softened
  • 1 cup chocolate fudge sauce for layering
Topping
  • 1 cup whipped cream for decoration
  • 1/2 cup chocolate shavings for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Crust
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
  2. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
Layer the Ice Cream
  1. Spread half of the softened vanilla ice cream over the crust, smoothing it out evenly.
  2. Drizzle half of the chocolate fudge sauce over the vanilla layer.
  3. Spread the softened chocolate ice cream over the fudge layer, smoothing it out evenly.
  4. Top with the remaining vanilla ice cream and smooth the top.
Freeze the Cake
  1. Cover the springform pan with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
Decorate and Serve
  1. Once the cake is firm, remove it from the freezer and carefully release it from the springform pan.
  2. Spread whipped cream over the top and sides of the cake, then garnish with chocolate shavings.
  3. Slice and serve immediately.
