  • 8 large eggs fresh
Dairy
  • 1/4 cup milk optional for creaminess
  • 2 tablespoons butter for cooking

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Crack the eggs into a mixing bowl and add milk, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well combined and slightly frothy.
Cooking
  1. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add butter. Allow it to melt and coat the pan.
  2. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet. Let it sit for a few moments until it starts to set around the edges.
  3. Gently stir with a spatula, pushing the eggs from the edges toward the center. Continue cooking until the eggs are softly set but still slightly runny.
  4. Remove from heat and let residual heat finish cooking the eggs. Serve immediately.
