Method
 

Making the Syrup
  1. In a saucepan, combine water and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Add the dried lavender to the saucepan and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  3. Simmer for about 10 minutes, allowing the lavender to infuse its flavor into the syrup.
  4. Remove from heat and let it cool for 10 minutes.
  5. Strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer into a clean bottle, discarding the lavender buds.
  6. Store the syrup in the refrigerator for up to a month.
