Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
  • 2 medium potatoes diced
  • 1 cup carrots sliced
  • 1 cup green bell pepper diced
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for drizzling
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1 tsp black pepper to taste

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat or the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, diced potatoes, sliced carrots, diced bell pepper, and diced onion.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and season with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.
Assembly
  1. Cut four large pieces of aluminum foil, about 12 inches long.
  2. Divide the beef and vegetable mixture evenly among the foil pieces.
  3. Fold the foil over the mixture and crimp the edges to seal tightly, creating packets.
Cooking
  1. Place the foil packets on the grill or in the oven.
  2. Cook for about 30 minutes, turning halfway through, until the beef is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
  3. Carefully open the packets (steam will escape) and serve hot.
