  • 1 cup whole milk chilled
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cotton candy fluffy and broken into small pieces
Optional Toppings
  • 1/4 cup sprinkles for decoration
  • 1/4 cup additional cotton candy for serving

Method
 

Prepare the Ice Cream Base
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, and granulated sugar until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
  3. Gently fold in the cotton candy until evenly distributed.
Chill and Churn
  1. Cover the mixture and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until completely chilled.
  2. Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
Freeze
  1. Transfer the churned ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 2 hours or until firm.
Serve
  1. Scoop the ice cream into bowls and top with sprinkles and additional cotton candy if desired.
